As an elementary school within the educational system of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Immanuel Lutheran School:

          *  Complements the mission of Christ's church to all people in 
                 teaching and directing children toward Christ's grace found 
                 in His Word and Sacraments.

            *  Begins preparation of our students for vocations within the 
                church and world.

            *  Provides a varied and rigorous experience in academics and 
                the fine arts.

     Immanuel Lutheran School seeks to educate the whole child: spiritually, mentally, physicaly, socially, and aesthetically (Luke 2:40).  The uniqueness of a Christian faculty and student body is that they can become vehicles of the Holy Spirit as they help each other grow in every way.

     Immanuel Lutheran School attempts to provide a quality education in all areas of its curriculum.  We believe that the basic skills of reading, mathematics and the ability to communicate with effective writing, spelling and grammar are necessary.  Therefore, we seek to maintain a program in our school that will give essential skills in those areas for all students to the limit of their various potentials.  We are also committed to quality education in social studies, science, health, physical education, art, music and the computer.  We believe our program of instruction should also provide for a smooth transition from elementary school to respective Nebraska high schools and into future academic and life situations.  It is our goal to have classroom teachers who are Lutheran Christians trained by our Synod.  This dedicated and committed staff of well-trained teachers will seek to be alert to the growing educational needs of our students.

     A single united effort and mutual respect on the part of parent(s)/ guardians, teachers, Board of Parish Education and Church are essential for Christian education.  Our school seeks to provide the opportunity for that united effort and mutual respect by encouraging constant communication.

     Since Immanuel Lutheran School is an integral part of a Christian congregation, it is also God's mission.  Therefore, we open our doors to all those who sincerely desire the Christian education for their children which is offered here.

     The purposes and possibilities of our school commend it to the church as an agency, which merits prayer, support and sacrifice.  As in all Christian endeavors, human imperfection will always cause shortcomings, but this fact should spur Christians on to more fervent prayer, greater effort and renewed commitment.
